Apple TV to bring HBO Go for Apple Users


Referring to the news from Bloomberg, Apple is planning to include HBO video streaming services to its Apple TV users. The company is in conversation and is negotiating with the HBO Company. If this plan takes the desired shape, you, as Apple Mac and TV users will have the opportunity to watch HBO contents on your Apple devices within simple clicks.

It is known to all that HBO Go is a TV streaming service which allows HBO services subscribers to watch and enjoy HBO contents on PCs, tablets, consoles, and many other different platforms.

Apple Inc. is in negotiations to start carrying Time Warner Inc.’s HBO Go application on Apple TV by mid-2013, according to two people familiar with the plans.

Cable and satellite subscribers who pay for HBO will be able to watch more than 600 hours of films and television shows on Apple TV, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the talks are private.

If the succeeds then by the middle of 2013, the HBO Go application will be available on Apple mobile. The satellite and cable subscribers of HBO can watch over 600 hours of movies and other TV programs on apple TV, according to an unidentified source.

This is important to note that presently Hulu plus and Netflix are providing services to Apple TV box and HBO Go to iPad and iPhone. According to the Macrumors, Apple is planning for television with its CEO Tim Cook adding that the company is also interested in this area and they both are looking forward to it. So, we must wait and watch what the decision comes out to be. If it goes as per the plans, Apple customers are sure be delighted with this service addition.
